Life can take us through twists and turns. On the outside things may seem fine, but on the inside, you are feeling incredibly overwhelmed. You may feel confused, misunderstood, and unsure of who you are becoming. You may have difficulty controlling negative thoughts or quieting your mind. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, or interpersonal challenges, counseling can be an incredible outlet. I provide individual counseling for adolescents and adults to enhance insight on personal struggle, develop effective coping skills, and empower my clients to face each day with confidence. During my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my work in various settings has allowed me to help adolescents in middle and high school as well as adults in private practice. I have experience working with individuals struggling with varying degrees of symptoms. In practice, I use various treatment modalities tailored to each individual client. Making the decision to commit to counseling can be difficult, therefore I applaud you for making the first step towards change. If you are looking for a therapist who has a genuine passion for guiding others, I am looking forward to working with you!

Deciding to pursue therapy is a personal and often challenging decision. I believe we are all on our own ongoing path of achieving wellness and restoration. My work has an emphasis on integrated healing of both the mind and body. My goal is to offer tools and guidance while working together to challenge obstacles along your path. I am offering both telehealth and in person services at this time and look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself. Over the years I have provided clinical services in school settings as well as worked with adults, couples and small groups in other settings. I use a variety of approaches based on individual need. At times therapy can really be short term & solution focused; and other times, it involves more of a journey, healing the many parts that exist within. My priority is to create a safe and nurturing space for each client to explore their experiences, tap into inner strengths and guide them towards self-healing. "I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become." - Carl Jung

For individuals who have never been in therapy before, it can seem mystical, complicated, and flat out scary. But rest assured this is a safe, comfortable, judgement free space for you to deal with the issues that have been afflicting you. You will be surprised at the solutions you can uncover when you take the time to stop and gaze into the mirror called therapy. Everything you need to solve your problems can be found within; sometimes it takes the help of a skilled therapist to help you discover what has always been there. I have had the opportunity to work in a multitude of both traditional and non-traditional therapeutic settings with a broad spectrum of clients. Prior to this I was a Career Development Counselor for at-risk youth and young adults for 6 years. In this role I learned how to help young people navigate their way through life, education, and career challenges. The motto I live by is “You are who you think you are.” Your mind is a powerful tool that can not only change your reality, but your destiny. Allow me to be that resource to help you resolve those core issues preventing you from being the beautiful, confident, unique, healthy, individual you are meant to be. I look forward to hearing from you.

Life is full of obstacles that at times feel impossible to overcome. In therapy, we will work together to equip you with coping skills that best suit you to make tackling these obstacles possible. Depression, anxiety, grief, and low self-esteem are common hindrances that therapy can help find long term solutions enabling you to live to your fullest potential. I have experience with adolescents and adults specializing with those suffering from anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I use psychotherapy to help my clients become aware of their unconscious thoughts and desires to better understand themselves. I am trained in EMDR to help my clients heal from the emotional distress cause by disturbing life experiences. I offer a safe space for anyone to talk openly and a judgement free environment for one to be their authentic selves. It is important for you to remember you are not alone and I am here to help you through your difficult times.
